Become a Member
Membership will be granted to any person who makes a financial contribution of any amount to the Congress. The membership is valid for one year from the date of donation. You may use Canada Helps to make a secure credit card donation online and receive your charitable donation receipt right away.
Suggested membership contribution: $35
For payment by cheque: send with your contact information to Canadian Women Voters Congress, 19959 48 Avenue, Langley, BC V3A 3L2. You can download the full membership form here. Or you may contact our bookkeeper, Paula Larson, Certified Professional Bookkeeper, Accountable Books, to process your credit card securely over the phone. Volunteer
There are several activities we are planning and we are always looking for helping hands. If you are interested in volunteering, please send an e-mail to info@womenvoters.ca to express your interest.
Join a Committee
The fundraising committee is seeking additional members. If you, live in the Metro Vancouver area, have experience in fundraising or a desire to learn how to fundraise to support programs for women’s success in politics and leadership, please send an expression of interest to the chair of the fundraising committee at: info@womenvoters.ca
Serve on our Board of Directors
The governance committee of the board is responsible for reviewing applications and recommending applicants to the board. All board members must be members of the Congress. We do not accept nominations from the floor at the AGM. We strongly recommend board experience or preparatory training through Vantage Point (formerly Volunteer Vancouver) or equivalent.

The Canadian Women Voters Congress is seeking nominations for those interested in joining its dynamic volunteer Board of Directors for a 2 year term at its AGM in June. Help to shape and develop the organization behind the Women’s Campaign School.
Please forward your resume and contact information for 2 references to nominations@womenvoters.ca before April 15, 2010. Though the Congress welcomes individuals with a broad range of experience, we are currently seeking people with the following skills background:
Governance – Fundraising – Communications – Organizational Development
